Subjects Offered

At Vector College we are guided by the CAPS Curricular framework which we follow strictly to ensure that the quality and pace of the education we offer is at the highest standard.

CAPS provides teachers with detailed teaching and assessment guidelines on a grade-by-grade and subject-by-subject basis. CAPS aims to minimise the administrative burden on teachers and ensure consistency and guidance for teachers. All teaching and learning have specific aims, skills, content focus areas and weighting.

Each subject has a study plan which specifies the knowledge, skills and concepts that the learners will be expected to acquire as they progress through their secondary school education.
